Concealed began in 2017 at João Saraiva’s living room table, with a simple goal: to build a fully remote team that could live their best lives while creating their best work.

The foundation of Concealed
Concealed was born in João Saraiva's one-bedroom apartment's living room in Lisbon with the goal of assembling a fully-remote digital agency.
2018
Francisco joins Concealed
Although João's dog Zola was the first colleague in Concealed's office, the team was only truly created when Francisco joined as well.
2018
Our first team retreat in Thailand!
Concealed's first team retreat was a full month trip to Thailand, where Francisco and João got to eat amazing food and know some awesome elephants. Zola sat this one out as she isn't the biggest fan of elephants.
2019
And then there were three
2019 was marked with João Ribau joining the team, adding another expert developer to Concealed.

2019 Retreat: Sines
With our new team member, the second retreat was in motion. The whole team and Zola came together during a week in Sines to work, eat and drink the local craft beer in a relaxing environment.

2020 Retreat: Vilamoura
Despite being stuck at home for most of the year, we still got to come together and enjoy a retreat in Vilamoura. We tested our physiques in a paintball match, sped in a karting race and enjoyed each other's companies.

2021 Retreat: Alvor
Our 2021 retreat was filled with amazing views and activities. From working together to conquer an horror escape room to having a superb boat excursion to the beautiful scenery of the Benagil caves, we had a great time together.

With Concealed's website, we received an honorable mention in Awwwards.

Our team joined together at Ponte de Lima to enjoy dailypool dips, collaborative in-person work and the start of a cooking competition.

2023 Retreat: Rosal, Spain
Our team came together to enjoy collaborative work, an elevated cooking competition, a group workout and a mini hackathon that marked the beginning of our product PDF BFF.

2024 Retreat: Marseille, France
Bonjour, France! Our team flew to Marseille to explore new surroundings. There was some paintball involved, and we showed our usual love for the pool while working together.

The release of our first product, Resty!
We released our first product: Resty, an all-in-one platform designed to transform how hospitality businesses manage orders.

Our second product!
Following Resty, we launched PDF BFF: An AI assistant built specifically to help users navigate, summarize and extract insights from complex PDF files.

From 7 to 9 members
Our team continued to grow with the addition of Daniela and Leonardo, two new designers, at the end of 2024.

Our year couldn't have ended better. We received two more awards for our services in UX/UI Design and Software Development in Techbehemoths annual awards.

A third product has been launched
Following Resty and PDF BFF, our team looked for a new challenge. We decided to build a browser extension with the goal of helping agencies create product tours in a few clicks. And so, SaaS Tours was born.

We have hit the double digits!
Our team continues to grow, now with Mariana joining us. We are confident that the team will continue to improve and join efforts to provide high-quality work.
