Challenge
Overview
The existing lead retrieval app was outdated and inefficient, leaving exhibitors struggling to capture and manage leads effectively during events. We partnered with Convention Data Services (acq. by Maritz) to rethink the design, working alongside their in-house development & product teams to create a modern mobile app that helps exhibitors generate more sales and build lasting relationships.
design system
We created a comprehensive design system, including a full component library aligned with Material Design, Flutter’s core library. Eventually, this design system evolved into a multi-product framework, powering various Exhibitor products within Convention Data Services.
oNBOARDING
We designed the onboarding flow to make sure that new users get up to speed with the key features. Our focus was to highlight the benefits and present a series of visual screens that showcased the value of each feature.

We focused on providing exhibitors with complete information about each lead, enabling them to quickly get the information they need.
Exhibitors can filter, sort & search for specific leads, as well as dive deeper into each lead for in-depth details.

Exhibitors were lacking a way to assess their performance, so we designed a real-time dashboard with lead retrieval metrics. We focused on high-quality data visualization, empowering exhibitors to make informed decisions that optimize their lead capture strategy.
Our design solution was initially tailored for mobile, but recognizing the need for exhibitors to access the app in multiple devices, we adapted the design to tablet & web. By leveraging the multi-platform flexibility of Flutter, we created a cohesive experience across devices.

A smooth release to app stores
We prepared all assets for the app to be released on both the App Store and the Google Play Store. This included a custom app icon design and screenshot previews for mobile version. We collaborated closely with the branding team at CDS, aligning design with brand identity.
